I often tell everyone the reason I was born with big ears was to listen and hear everyone out. So, I decided to put them to good use and become a journalist… and to eavesdrop from time to time. During the pandemic, I picked up a camera to visually enhance stories when words felt trivial.  Captivated by storytelling, my work focuses on capturing an intimate connection with my subject — whether its an interview or in front of the lens.

Currently, I'm the social media producer for WTTW News, Chicago's local PBS station, where I develop social copy, schedule social media posts and create digital strategy. On the photography front, I serve as a house photographer for local venues Thalia Hall and Metro, and write blog posts and manage social media for Photographer Tonight, an online community connecting concert photographers across the United States.

My work has been featured in Gay Times Magazine, Milk Studios, Chicago Reader, iHeartRadio, FLOOD Magazine, Palabra, Cicero Independiente, 9 Millones and more.

I earned a bachelors degree in Journalism + Design at The New School in May 2020.
